The cycle “Fragments of Hope” comprises 16 oil paintings that Andreas Felger painted in 1992 after a trip to the eastern states of Germany. Dull colors, the sparse geometry of house facades and irregularly broken picture surfaces abstractly illustrate the artist’s perception of a country in a time of social upheaval.
Andreas Felger has created various groups of works and cycles that form thematic units. In the sense of traveling exhibitions, they can be borrowed from the foundation’s holdings upon request.
