The painter Andreas Felger

Wolfram Huke has accompanied the painter: on walks, at work, while contemplating art and nature. The painter’s looks and posture testify that here is a visual artist who looks, thinks and speaks, who does not use many words in his daily craft. The words are all the more solid and concentrated in space, which the film captures on its soundtrack.
“To think with one’s hands is the true destiny of man.” (Jean-Luc Godard in: “Picture Book”, 2018). The artist demonstrates it, a part of his life, his humanity and his thinking ‘with his hands’, which after all opens the way to language and makes the personality of the artist knowable.
